Final Exam

What was your most favorite topic, activity, subject matter and/or technology we did this semester? Why?
I really enjoyed making the voice threds and the glogs. My favorite part of this class was being able to work in groupd and picking our own partners. I believe that this gives students a chance to have fun but work hard.

What was your least favorite topic, activity, subject matter and/or technology we did this semester? Why?
The prezi's were probably my least favorite project in this class. I found it to be very hard to make and confusing. I feel that it took more time then needed to actually make it.

What is one thing you would change to make this class better?
The only thing that i would change to make this class better would be to have more options on projects. I feel as if students would have more fun if they could pick how to present there projects.

What was the hardest thing for you to grasp or believe of all the things we talked about in class? Why?
the hardest thing for me to grasp in this class are the amout of ways people say the earth formed. I would have thought that there was only one or two theories.

I'm going to miss you Ms. G! this class was once again my favorite with you. I'm going to deffinetly come back and visit you often!

EM Spectrum Brochure

The EM Spectrum is different types of radiation. Scientist use the EM Spectrum to find ocean temperatures, to find gases in space, to study galaxies, and to study the chemestry of star. Three  things, out of the many, that I learned about are the different types of radiation, how these types are different, and how scientist use them. I still question how scientist came up with the EM Spectrum and how things are placed into the EM Spectrum. I enjoyed makeing the brochure for this project, it allowed us to put out own unique taste into the project. I did not like how we had to search for the answers to the question. If I could change one thing about this project I would make it easier to find the answer, maybe label what website each could be found in.

Star Project Reflection

A Middle-Aged-Normal Star is any star lying on a diagonal band that extends from hot stars of high luminosity to cool stars of low luminosity; any stars in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram from the upper left to lower right of the diagram. This was the type of star my group had to research for our star project. We learned that the Sun is a Middle-Aged-Normal Star and that it is located in the yellow area of the H-R diagram with a temperature of approximately 5,700 degrees celsius. The one thing that I did not like about this project were the infers questions. They were hard to understand and even harder to answer. If I could change something about this project I would change presentations. I feel that they should be more interacting, with the class. I found it kind of boring to sit and just listen to the other groups. However, over all Glogster was a very fun website to use and I enjoyed this project.

First Post

Hey I'm Hannah, I'm in 10th grade and living life as best as I can! I've been a cheerleader for 10 years and I cheer for G-Town now! I spend my days going from school to cheer practice, to home where I eat dinner and do homework. My free time is about a negative 50. But when I do get to hang out with friends I make it as best as I can. I have my ups and downs and sometimes things are hard but I'm trying my best toi do the best I can with what I have.

I choose honors Space Sciences because I took honors Physical Science last year and I did very well in it. My Physical Science teacher from last year told me I should take honors Space Science this year. She also teaches honors Space Science and I wanted to have her again.

What do I hope to get from this class? I hope to be able to learn a lot more about my night sky, I look up and see stars, but what else is up there? I'm hoping that by the time this class is done I will be able to actually understand what I am looking at.
